History :

Tom Miles and Alex Generalis founded MILES & GENERALIS, INC. in 1978. A service company to art, architecture and industry, M&G, Inc. presented Alex and Tom with the opportunity to design Live / Work space developments. In 1983, Tom and Alex created the first true Live / Work artist's studio residential lofts in Philadelphia. Since then, Tom and Alex have created numerous loft buildings as well as urban housing developments. In 2000, M&G formed a new division to serve the growing demand for Live/Work space in Philadelphia. With the addition of Theresa Stigale as Broker, Miles & Generalis, Inc. Real Estate became the first real estate brokerage firm in Philadelphia to specialize in lofts.
